Tony Fiorino is the host of Hey Coach Tony, a weekly radio broadcast for coaches and parents of young athletes. The show airs each Saturday at 9 am EST on ESPN Radio AM 1510 in NY and AM 940 in Connecticut.
Prior to launching his own radio program, Tony spent eight years as Director of the Center for Sports Parenting, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating parents, coaches and officials on the subtleties of the youth sports environment. Tony has been a frequent featured guest on numerous radio and television broadcasts around the country.
Tony is also the author of Kids in Sports: A Tactical Guide for Parents and Coaches and has spent many years as a Director and Coach in the Basketball, Baseball, Football and Softball programs in Somers, NY. He is also a member of the coaching staff of Team NY Baseball. Team NY was created through the merger of The New York Nine and The Bayside Yankees, two of the top amateur baseball organizations in the country.
Tony has worked closely with numerous sports camps throughout his career to help identify instructional and motivational techniques geared towards young athletes.
As a baseball player, Tony achieved NABF Amateur All-American status as a member of the National Champion Bayside Yankees. He also was ranked in the top twenty in the United States in batting average and the top ten in RBI while at Mercy College, where he graduated with honors.
