    Hey Coach!!

I’m friends with Billy Butler & he sent you my FB post about my sons Little League making children play for Red, Green, Yellow, Blue…etc..instead of Mets, Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, etc.. The original rumor was that it was because the kids didn’t like being made fun of if they were on the opposite end of a rivalry.

The real monster here is MLB. My Son’s league used to be a local/independent league. This year they are affiliated with Little League Baseball and about 3-4 years ago MLB told the Little League that if they will be using MLB team names, then they MUST buy uniforms directly from MLB or their approved wholesalers.

Not really sure which story is worse…

Anyway, I’ll try & tune in on Saturday. I’m on North Shore of Long Island out east so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to grab the signal…

I love garbage like this. I like to call it “the overwussification of America’s youth”. Let’s not alloow them to experience anything the real world has to offer because it might hurt someone’s feelings…WHAT CRAP! As for MLB and their pursuit of the almighty dollar…does that really surprise you?

You may not be able to get the signal on the North Shore but if you’re home, you can listen live right here on the blog. Enjoy!
